Blackjack with basic strategy has the lowest house edge of any casino game. See how it compares to other options available at 5jjj and understand why it's the go-to choice for players who think before they bet.
Play with Strategy*RTP = Return to Player. Blackjack figures assume correct use of basic strategy. Values are typical market averages.
Blackjack is the only casino game where a player's decisions directly impact long-term outcomes. These tips make a real difference in your sessions.
Basic strategy is a set of mathematically optimal decisions for every possible card combination. It's not complicated — these are publicly available charts any player can reference. At 5jjj you can start at R$ 5.00 tables while you practice until every decision becomes second nature.
The insurance bet looks tempting when the dealer shows an Ace, but mathematically it increases the house edge. Insurance pays 2:1, but the actual probability of the dealer having blackjack is lower than that. At 5jjj, always decline — the right move is to play your hand normally.
Two aces together make a weak 12. Split them and each becomes a potentially strong hand starting at 11. Two eights make 16 — the worst hand in blackjack. Split them and you get two chances to build competitive hands. This rule applies at every table on 5jjj.
Starting with 11 in hand is one of the strongest positions in blackjack. If the dealer shows a card from 2 to 10, double down — the odds of drawing a 10-value card (the most common in the deck) are high enough to justify the risk every time.
Even with perfect strategy, blackjack has variance. Bad sessions happen. Decide before you start how much you're willing to lose and what profit target feels satisfying. 5jjj lets you set daily deposit limits in your account settings for those who want extra discipline.
All live tables at 5jjj feature dealers who speak Brazilian Portuguese. You catch every word, chat freely, and play without any language barrier.
Deposit and withdraw via Pix with no waiting. Your balance shows up in seconds and you're at the table in under 2 minutes after signing up at 5jjj.

If there's one casino game that rewards players who think before they act, it's blackjack. While roulette and slots rely entirely on chance, blackjack is one of the few games where the player's decisions directly affect long-term outcomes — and 5jjj built a dedicated section for players who take this seriously. Here you'll find the top game variants, live tables with Portuguese-speaking dealers, and the right environment to develop your strategy at your own pace.
The goal of blackjack is straightforward: get as close to 21 as possible without going over, and beat the dealer's total. Cards 2 through 10 are worth their face value. Jacks, Queens, and Kings are worth 10. An Ace counts as 1 or 11, whichever is more favorable to your hand. When your first two cards are an Ace and a 10-value card, that's a Blackjack — and it pays 3:2, meaning a R$ 100.00 bet returns R$ 150.00 in profit instantly.
What makes blackjack stand out from other games is the RTP. With basic strategy applied correctly, the house edge drops below 0.5% — meaning that, on average, for every R$ 100.00 wagered, the expected return over time is R$ 99.50. No other casino game offers a margin this favorable to the player. At 5jjj, classic tables can reach this RTP level, making blackjack the smartest choice for players who want to play with an edge.
The live tables at 5jjj feature professional dealers in studios equipped with high-definition cameras, streaming every hand in real time directly to your phone or computer screen. What sets 5jjj's Brazilian tables apart is the Portuguese commentary — you hear the cards being announced, follow the action, and chat with other players without any language barrier.
Live tables are available 24 hours a day, with dealer rotations to cover every time slot. Whether you prefer playing late at night after work or during the afternoon on your phone, there will always be a live table running at 5jjj. Limits range from R$ 5.00 per hand up to R$ 15,000.00 at exclusive VIP tables, covering everyone from casual players to High Rollers looking to compete for bigger pots.
Classic blackjack is the star, but 5jjj goes further. Multihand lets you play up to five hands at once against the same dealer — ideal for testing different approaches in the same round. Speed Blackjack picks up the pace with faster dealing and less time to decide, perfect for players who already have basic strategy down and want more action per session.
For players who enjoy mixing up their bets, tables with Perfect Pairs and 21+3 offer side bets with payouts well above the standard. Perfect Pairs pays between 5:1 and 25:1 if your first two cards form a pair. 21+3 combines your two cards with the dealer's up card to form poker-style combinations — three of a kind, straight flush — with payouts of up to 100:1. These are optional add-on bets that don't affect the main game.
Deposit at 5jjj to play blackjack is fast and straightforward. The most popular method is Pix — generate the QR Code on the platform, scan it with your banking app (Nubank, Itaú, Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, or any other), and the funds appear in your account within seconds. Also available are boleto bancário, credit and debit cards, PicPay, Mercado Pago, and TED bank transfer. The minimum deposit is R$ 20.00 and the platform charges no fees.
Withdrawals are made exclusively via Pix and processed in up to 30 minutes for accounts with approved identity verification. Verification is a one-time process that takes less than 24 hours. After that, every withdrawal goes through without additional red tape, any time of day or night.
Even as the casino game with the best RTP, blackjack still has variance — bad runs are part of the game. The 5jjj offers financial control tools in the account settings: you can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits to keep your spending within your planned budget. If you feel like you need a break, the temporary self-exclusion option is available in just a few clicks.
Gaming should be an enjoyable form of entertainment, not a source of stress. Basic strategy goes a long way toward reducing unnecessary losses, but it doesn't guarantee a win every session — and that's perfectly fine. For more information on responsible gaming, see the Responsible Gambling of 5jjj.
In short: if you want to play the casino game with the highest theoretical return available, with Portuguese-speaking dealers, easy Pix deposits, and a secure environment, blackjack at 5jjj is the right choice. Create your account, claim the 100% welcome bonus up to R$ 500.00, and take your seat at the table.
